Madden NFL 21, Next-gen, Coins, Madden 21 coins

Madden NFL 21 on next-gen consoles is out. Let’s see what the reviews have to say about this year’s EA’s Madden NFL instalment. As the new consoles just released, this is the first title in the franchise to be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It will set a standard for future game instalments on these new machines.

Madden NFL 21 on next-generation consoles looks and plays better. The graphical improvement is noticeable but one cannot help compare it to FIFA 21 that just launched on the new consoles as well. Comparing it to EA’s football game, Madden NFL 21 next-gen graphics are somewhat wanting. The resolution upgrade is not bad but, as we said, FIFA is much better looking.

The weather effects have been made better. You can see that the rain is more realistic. The next-gen version of the game comes with better loading times. We can say that this a significant upgrade. After all, the new consoles come packed with an SSD. This makes a huge difference when it comes to loading times. If you play Ultimate Team often, you will enjoy better loading speeds. Players don’t have to wait anymore for each mission to load. This decreases waiting times and gives a better flow to the game. It was a much-needed update. Madden NFL 21 comes with data pulled from NLF Next-Gen Stats. This is a tool that extracts data from plays. In theory, it’s a great feature but it doesn’t work as you would expect.

The overall gameplay is not that different from the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Maybe you will notice some changes to the players’ balance. The game still uses the original animations. It is not that bad, but when we compare it to other sports-based games on next-gen, we can see that there was room for more improvement.

The game comes with a new feature which is the play-calling menu. This addition gives players the possibility to select preferred plays. It’s nice in concept but it’s not that easy to get used to. When it comes to game modes, you won’t find any new ones in the next-gen version. This is the same game with some graphical improvements. If you already own Madden NFL 21, keep in mind that you can upgrade for free. With the dual entitlement offer in mind, we can say that the game is not bad, however, it could have been better. You can rely on MUTeamGo to make your team better. The MUT coins they sell are cheap and reliable.
